For the new Hermès store in The Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Florida we repurposed the two leather flamingos from our Impossible Garden window in a new scene. In the “Mysterious Marsh” the flamingos move through a strange and exotic landscape that defies the laws of nature. Waterfalls flow in impossible directions while trees loop and twist in space. Everything seems real, but not quite right. The flamingos and leather plants were all made by hand in our studio.

The leather used in the window display was provided by the Hermès Sustainability Department, in cooperation with Petit H, a special Hermès workshop that creates a dialogue between artists and craftspeople to reimagine new products utilizing unused materials.
